2026 Harley-Davidson Let’s Ride Challenge: Join the Ride for Heroes at Wilkins H-D

The 2026 Let’s Ride Challenge is officially here, and it’s the biggest riding event of the year. Starting February 27th through October 31st, riders across Vermont and the U.S. are hitting the pavement for a powerful cause: honoring military members, veterans, and first responders.

The national goal? 100 million miles logged and $1 million donated to veteran and first responder organizations. At Wilkins Harley-Davidson in Barre, Vermont, we’ve been the heart of the local riding community since 1947. Here is your guide to registering, logging miles, and winning big in 2026.

What is the "Ride for Heroes" Challenge?

The Let’s Ride Challenge is a nationwide mileage contest organized by Harley-Davidson. It’s designed to give back to those who serve. Every mile you log contributes to a $1 million donation supporting:

New for 2026: Open to All Motorcycle Brands

You don't need to own a Harley to participate! Whether you ride a cruiser, a sportster, or a touring rig, all brands are welcome to join the Ride for Heroes. While H.O.G. members earn exclusive bonuses, the mission is open to every rider in New England.

How to Register for the 2026 Let’s Ride Challenge

Your miles don’t start counting until your first odometer reading is validated at a dealership. Here are four ways to sign up:

  1. Visit Wilkins H-D: Stop by our showroom in Barre, VT, and scan our in-dealer QR code. This is the fastest way to register and get your baseline mileage verified.

  2. The H-D App: Download the official Harley-Davidson app (iOS/Android) and register under the "Challenges" tab.

  3. Online: Visit h-dletsride.com to create your profile.

  4. Events: Scan codes at the H-D Museum or official Riding Academy locations.

Pro Tip: Ride over to Wilkins as soon as you register. Your miles only count after that first official check-in!
