The Future Of Motorcycling?
Take a minute to imagine what motorcycles might be like in the future with motorcycles.
What will they look like? How will they be powered? How will the riding experience be different then it is today? Will we even have motorcycles as we currently know them?
We think the future of motorcycling is bright. Sure, we may be optimistic, but think about it.
Imagine a world where motorcycles utilize much of the new technology we are hearing about today like self-driving modes, gyroscopes, and electric engines. Imagine a world where motorcycles use technology similar to a new $499.99 Segway (yes you can purchase a segway on Amazon for $499.00. You can even make it drive to meet you). How would you feel about a motorcycle that doesn’t require you to put your feet down to keep it from falling over? Imagine cruising down the road, hugging the corners, with almost no effort needed to cruise along with the wind in your face. Pretty cool! No more skill is required to move from one point to another. Just enjoy the ride and the scenary.

We imagine Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the future with two driving modes. One mode for manual riding (self-controlled) and one for automatic (where the motorcycle’s technology takes over). We think tradition can coexist with modern technology to create an entirely new riding experience.
As cities continue to grow, traffic and congestion will only get worse. Cars are big, bulky, and inefficient particularly when you consider how often a large automobile transports a single passenger. Cities often create and build High Occupancy Lanes for vehicles traveling with more than 1 person at a great expense. Imagine if everyone could ride a motorcycle in the world because it required no real skill based on the technology? If a large percentage were on motorcycles, we wouldn’t have nearly the same congestion issues. Places like China are so over-crowded that in some places cars are not allowed. In New York City, proposals are underway to tax people $2.75 to venture into midtown manhatten. They call it congestion pricing.

Motorcycles may be the solution.
Harley-Davidson is the go-to brand for quality and reliability. Behind the scenes it is also on the forefront research and development. Though Harley clings to tradition steadfastly, they are no slouches when it comes to technology. Sure, BMW makes a great bike and has it's niche. Honda makes a nice motorcycle too but Harley-Davidson is and always will be the leader. We believe in the very near future, you will witness a transformation that will revolutionize the motorcycle world as we know it.
Stay tuned!
