Is your reverse gear not working on your Harley-Davidson Trike?
If your Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide or Freewheeler is not reversing when you activate the reverse button, it may be the fuse.
Watch this video to better understand how to reset the reverse fuse.
STEPS:
1. Sit on the trike.
2. On your right hand side. There is a triangular fiberglass cover. Right behind your right leg.
3. Remove that cover by pulling on it and rocking it back and forth. It has 3 docking points that plug into rubber grommets.
4. Be careful when you are pulling the cover off it doesnt bump into your passenger floorboard and scratch the cover. We just warned you. No whining.
5. Watch this video now.
6. Just because the little red fuse is "IN" doesnt mean it is making FULL contact. Follow the video. Press the red button to make the fuse pop out. Then firmly push it back in until you hear a CLICK.
