The Ultra Limited is dead? Did the Street Glide Ultra kill it?

That is not click-bait, the Ultra Limited and Road Glide Limited are no more. Many were waiting for their redesign.  But just like in 2014, when Harley cancelled the Road Glide, they don’t exist. Dead on Arrival.  Sorry, if you waited folks. Instead, an all-new model is born.   The 2025 Street Glide Ultra. At first glance some may think this is a new Street Glide with a tourpack and lower fairings, however, there is more to it than that.  Keep reading to understand.

Let’s start with the all-new lower fairings. These are redesigned to align with the new Touring design and include some well-appreciated upgrades of their own. The adjustable vents have a much more premium feeling lever and the way they incorporate into the bike is great. Plus, they offer additional storage and can accommodate new LED fog lights and highway pegs as an accessory. In addition to the storage in the lower fairings, you also have a king-sized tour pack equipped with a luggage rack for an increase in storage and passenger comfort. These combined with the saddlebags provide you with 4% more storage than the 2024 Ultra Limited. What?  You don't say?  More storage?

You might be thinking, what else did they do? We're glad you asked!

  • 4” taller windshield than a standard Street Glide.
  • Larger fork-mounted air deflectors.
  • Mid-frame air deflectors.
  • Redesigned one-piece seat to enhance long-distance comfort.
  • External hydraulic adjustment knob (it isn’t hidden behind the left saddlebag like the Street Glide). Stop in to Wilkins Harley and we will show you.
  • Embedded Navigation is standard in the 12.3” Skyline OS on the Street Glide Ultra.
  • Heated grips. Oh yea, on those chilly New Hampshire mornings.
  • Steel speaker grills for a premium look.
  • Chrome or black trim options.
  • New console inserts and tank badge specific to Street Glide Ultra.
  • Available in Two-Tone paint options along with factory pinstriping.

And to top it all off, the bike produces 130 ft/lbs of torque compared to the 122 ft/lbs produced by the 2024 Ultra Limited, with larger brakes (320mm vs 300) and is a whopping 51lbs lighter than the 2024 Ultra Limited. More power, more storage, improved suspension, and less weight all add up to an impressive improvement over the extinct FLHTK.

The 2025 Street Glide Ultra isn’t just a replacement for the Ultra Limited—it’s a next-level touring machine with more power, more storage, and refined comfort for the long haul. With its sleek redesign, enhanced features, and performance upgrades, this bike is built to redefine what it means to ride in style. Want to see it for yourself?
