Exceeded my Expectations

I'd been searching for my new Harley for quite a while. I'd heard nothing but great things about Wilkins, so I checked their inventory. They had the exact bike I was looking for. I emailed asking for information after hours and got a response that night. They were extremely helpful and encouraged me to come in and experience what Wilkins was all about. I set up an appointment and came in. Everything was as advertised and better. I never felt rushed or like I was wasting their time. They took extra time to find me the best payment and rate. Everyone stayed late that night to make sure all my questions were answered. When my wife and I came in to take delivery, we were treated to a party to welcome us to the family. My wife has even started looking at bikes. The final step, the actual delivery of the bike to my house. John (yes the owner) came up in a snow storm and brought it right in the garage. Everything was amazing. Wilkins has exceeded my every expectation and is by far the best dealer I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended!

What a great place, everyone was fantastic, from the sales staff, finance, parts, merchendise, service,just good people to deal with. When i entered the showroom was greeted promptly, and was introduced to John the owner, who stopped a meeting to come out and and say hi to me.....you don't see that much any more. NICE.....All of my business will done here.

Wilkins is Second to None

Courteous, Professional, Knowledgeable & Caring... (with some playfulness & subtile comedy)... to me that exemplifies what Wilkins is all about. I have had the pleasure to work with almost the entire staff as I have come to know the "family" through my acquisition of my new Harley.. What an enjoyable and fun experience. I cannot thank the Wilkins TEAM enough for making it about "ME". I live on Long Island. I have options (that aren't 300+ miles away), but those dealerships, while there are good service teams in the NY area, cannot compete in the front of the house operations - Wilkins is second to none.

When it comes to supporting local businesses I am all about it, however, it's one strike and your out! Worth the drive for me.

Paying attention to the details with an eye on intangibles makes all the difference. Thank you Wilkins for all you do..!

Big shout out To Jon, Ed and George, and of course Thank You Barbara... I always enjoy our conversations.

Stepped Up to the Plate

This comment is truly one I will tell for years to come. It shows how strong the Harley family is, how well an employee at Wilkins stepped up to the plate and helped out a breakdown situation. 6 days into an east coast Canadian and US ride, my rear tire blew in the middle of White mountain park, Crawford Notch, in 95 deg + temp and no cell service. After a tow to Conway, many phone calls, Wilkins had the only unique size I needed in the whole state. The only way for me to get that tire and to get back home to Canada for the weekend, was to get that tire delivered that Thurs night for a Fri install. Richard Cleveland, after hearing desperation in my voice I'm certain, kindly said he would ride down for a 3 hour trip, after work Thursday afternoon, to deliver the tire to me for a Fri am install so i can get back home for the weekend. Who does that, seriously ?!?! So on way back home, we of course, stopped into Wilkins to see the store, get our poker chip, and meet everyone. All staff, ownership and what a great store, treated us like gold again. Pride of history, ownership, services and customer service resonates throughout the store. So again, hats off to the unbelievable level of service to help out a customer and fellow rider in trouble. Richard, you out did yourself and should be applauded for what you did by your peers and coworkers. Again, many thanks to Wilkins staff and specifically Richard.

Top Notch

Best parts availability, service TOP NOTCH, I am a nobody at this dealership, I bought a battery once a year ago. Came back for a tire replacememt due to a puncture. Ed in parts set the tire aside, came next day on a Saturday when it was a zoo. They got me in and out in under 2 hours... and Ed actually remembered me and took the time to converse. The Matriarch Barabara was there. Super great family. You will get what you pay for here. A+++

Took Lemons and Made Lemonade

Took lemons and made lemonade. We live out of the country and were on a tour of New England in a group of 4 riders. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of a cooling / water pump go bad on our 2015 CVO Street Glide on a recent Saturday morning just leaving Monticello. Lady Luck intervened when we found Wilkins Harley just 8 miles away on smart phone search while on the side of the road. We cold called and spoke to Tom in service who was as helpful and accommodating as one could hope for and encouraged us to roll in if we were able to get there under our own power and he was sure he could help us. Within 10 min after arriving, we were on a lift and diagnosed, although Wilkins did not have the replacement part in stock. However what they did have was the absolute willingness to help us and so they sent a staff member to another nearby dealer who did have the part, and also invited us to go for the 45 minute scenic ride to get it. A few hours later we were back on the road. During the time spent, the entire staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Big thanks to everyone there and special shout out the entire service team and Mark who drove for the part and John in management who authorized it all ... We can't thank everyone enough. They shared the Harley brotherhood to a rider in need and made new friends at the same time. Great dealership with superb customer service ... And still family owned and operated !! Can't compliment them all enough. Would go back there just to say hello after being treated so well.

No Bullshit

I really appreciate the extra effort put in by Jenna, and Tom, David, and everyone in the service department, when I was stranded on the road without a cellphone with a failed starter. No bullshit, they just got it done. And they even checked the bike over and found that it needed new rear brake pads and took care of that. Way better than finding that out in two weeks, and having to bring it in again instead of riding. Thank you all for the hard work and extra effort.

The Way Business Should Be

I just purchased my first Harley a few days ago from Wilkins and I can say without a doubt they go above and beyond to satisfy you as a customer. Not only did I get a great deal on my dream bike but the Wilkins team made me feel very welcome right from the moment I walked in. They have friendly, top notch employees in every department who are ready to help you out any way they can and they are never pushy or intrusive in any way. They are also the most honest dealership I have ever been to. Mike Grant let me know within hours of inquiry what the OTD price was on my bike and at Wilkins there are no hidden fees or unpleasant surprises in financing a bike. Their price is what you get it for just the way business should be. I can't thank these guys enough for their generosity and professionalism and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting on a Harley. Thank you Wilkins Harley! 5 stars

Worth the 170 Mile Round Trip

Great place to do business. There are dealers closer to where I live, but Wilkins is still worth the 170 mile round trip for all of our motorcycle needs.

Above and Beyond

From my experience with the Rider Academy to purchasing a bike, I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Wilkins Harley. These folks go above and beyond to make you feel welcome whether you're buying a motorcycle or not.Being brand new to the motorcycling world, I was fairly apprehensive going into the Rider Academy. This quickly evaporated as Eric made something that is mentally and physically exhausting so much fun. He was serious when he needed to be, incredibly encouraging and very patient. He pushed me to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone and helped me gain confidence. This kind of environment was exactly what I needed as a new rider and afterward I felt fully prepared to go out on the road, hearing Eric's voice guiding me through the whole ride.Two weeks later I decided to trade in my brand new sport bike for a Harley and again could not have asked for anything better. Mike worked hard to ensure that I had the bike that was perfect for me. He was informative in every way, honest and fun! From the initial test rides to the final paperwork and the "Ticket to Ride", the hospitality I was given was above and beyond, just top notch. I would hang out with these folks every week if I could. Thank you Mike, John, Marc, Jenna, Chris, Eric and everyone else for an exceptional (and fun!) experience buying my first Harley! I can't wait to come see you guys again!

Worth the Drive

Check engine light came on my 17 ultra limited while traveling through northern Vermont this past weekend 4th of July, stopped in the dealership to get an idea if we could continue on or if something more serious, OB and staff where excellent, took us in for an emergency diagnostic, gave us a bike to ride to go get some breakfast while they checked out what caused the issue, by the time we got back from breakfast my bike was sitting out side, they gave us the result (o2 sensor), knowing we were traveling through, they were very helpfull in getting us back on the road as soon as possible with no pressure on having the service done there but did reassure us that although it should be replaced continuing on would be ok, that was a big piece of mind for us, I'm actually the one that asked cost and time to replace the sensor which without ever doing any business there was very surprised on how reasonable for cost and floor time do to their scheduled work load ( they would have got us in and out within 1-2 hrs), if we did not still have a long day ahead of us, would have had the work done there!! over all walked out of the dealership within couple hrs, including diagnosis, getting breakfast, talking to sales on some differences on bikes again with no pressure! on top of it all at no cost for

anything, everything done was at courtesy of the dealership, even knowing we lived 200+ miles away. Great people and pleasurable experience. Worth the drive to do business there, if you are in the market of buying, service or just visiting, stop in there you won't be dissatisfied. Thank you OB in service and Eric in sales and the rest of the staff we met for all your help, finished our road trip with no issues.PPP
